The Home
The three-bedroom, two-bath home sits beneath a canopy of mature oaks at the heart of Four Down Ranch. Deep screened porches wrap the home, creating nearly 1,000 square feet of outdoor living space and providing views of livestock, pasture, and the surrounding landscape.
Inside, reclaimed wood accents, exposed beams, and shiplap details reflect the property’s ranch heritage while creating warm and inviting living spaces. A standing-seam metal roof was installed in 2015.
The home is supported by reliable infrastructure including a drought-tested well in the Queen City aquifer that produces delicious water, a whole-house Generac generator, and easy access to the ranch’s horse and homestead facilities.
Distinctly Charming
The custom pantry door features handcrafted iron hardware built by the owner, adding a unique touch to a kitchen designed for preserving harvests, baking bread, and enjoying the rewards of country living.
The Rhythm of Ranch Life
Once your meal is prepared, you can head to the formal dining room, enjoy the view from the cozy breakfast nook with a built-in window seat, or head out on the screen porch.
From Garden to Table
The garden is fenced and features raised beds, mulch pathways, and an herb garden with a pergola. Perennial plants include an established asparagus bed, wisteria, and fig and pomegranate trees.
Porches, Porches, Porches
Nearly 1,000 square feet of screened porches provide outdoor living year-round. Designed to capture the breeze and the view, they are the perfect location to enjoy morning coffee and evening sunsets. These porches are where ranch life happens-visiting, watching the horses graze and enjoying a sun-downer or a meal.
Master Suite
Filtered sunlight drifts into the bedroom across the back porch through sliding glass doors. The view from this peaceful room looks out into the garden.
The master bath features hand-crafted cedar cabinetry, talavera sinks, a sliding barn door linen closet a shower and a over-sized jacuzzi tub.
Living Room
At the center of the home, the living and dining spaces were designed for exactly what ranch homes do best—bringing people together. Reclaimed wood accents, exposed beams, and large windows create a comfortable setting for family dinners, holiday gatherings, or quiet evenings overlooking the property. The open floor plan allows conversation and connection to flow as easily as daily life on the ranch.
Bedrooms & Bath
The West bedroom is finished in shiplap and is painted in beautiful chameleon Benjamen Moore shade, Sea Salt. The window opens to a view of the back yard and a huge Don Juan rose bush. There is a unique wall pantry with sliding barn doors on the left side of the room.
The East bedroom window view is to the giant oak in the front yard. It features built-in overhead cabinetry.
